Strengthening RFL services in Ethiopia

A) Objectifs de l’engagement:

Ethiopia represents a dynamic and highly complex interrelated spectrum of migration, displacements due to internal conflict, and refugees from the neighboring countries and returnees of Ethiopians mainly from gulf countries particularly from KSA, which have resulted in family separation and caused other related vulnerabilities.

 

In addition to be a country of origin, transit, and destination/return of thousands of migrants, Ethiopia also hosts around one million of refugees. It is anticipated that family separation will continue to happen and the RFL need has increased from year to year. Hence, to provide enhanced accessible, timely, and quality RFL services, it is crucial and mandatory to develop a country

Individual National Society actions and cooperation between National Societies 

 

The Ethiopian Red Cross Society establishes its own RFL strategy based on priorities identified in and aligned with the Restoring Family Links Strategy 2020-2025.
