Digitalisation was a priority of the Slovenian presidency within the COHAFA WG. Together with the ECDPM, a paper was prepared and published on the challenges of digitalisation in forgotten crises (https://ecdpm.org/publications/digitalisation-humanitarian-aid-opportunities-challenges-forgotten-crises/).
As part of the priority task, Slovenia as the presiding country of the Council was raising IHL awareness of forgotten crises and calling for respect in this context. The document was presented at the COHAFA WG meeting, and a discussion and tour de table with MSs on this topic were held. Member States responded that digitalisation can be an important tool in IHL awareness-raising.
