As part of our services for the beneficiaries, the mentioned resolutions are being considered. Despite there is no regulation in place within the organization. In practical, we respect the personal data. While filing the inquiries, it can only be accessed by persons in charge.

During the emergency situations. While in normal situations, the taken actions are adjustable. At the NHQ level, we are trying to optimize the ASPERA tools where the personal data is fully protected, while it is not applicable for PMI Provinces/Districts/Sub Districts.

As we aware of the needs in the data protection, the importance of this is not yet mainstreamed in the organization. The capacity of all resources, as the above mentioned, needs to be strengthened. In addition, the existing national regulation on data protection is still weak in terms of monitoring its application.

Despite the limitation within the organization in implementing the data protection accordingly, we still get trust and support from the Government and our humanitarian partners/stakeholders. In the field, we pay attention to the data protection and try to ensure that the needs of personal data are being protected.

The acceptance by the community to our service is our main concern prior to the respond. The personal data protection is one of our means to ensure the community that their information is secured and will ONLY be shared with the relevant personnel. In every inquiry, we ask for their consent if the information can be shared with others.
