A) Objectives of the pledge:

  • Have an adopted policy for SGBV according to the Human Rights Bill and IHL

B) Action plan:

  • We were already a part of the Helsinki Workshop that was held recently in this regard from which we will continue to follow according to the guidelines to be shared internally
  • Take the approval of the Governing Board
  • Dissemination
  • Complaint Mechanism
  • Establish a committee that will follow on and implement the sanction
  • Tackle the conservative communities.

  • Awareness Sessions for Beneficiaries especially the women in conservative communties
  •  Awareness Sessions for staff and volunteers
  •  Policy
  •  Mechanism
  • Procedure

D) Resource implications:

  • Support from the Federation in this regards and any other related partner
  • Possibility of Coordination with core NS in this subject , Turkish Red Crescent and Kenyan Red Cross
