Con fecha 23 de septiembre de 2016, Chile ratificó las enmiendas al Estatuto de Roma acordadas en Kampala en 2010. Actualmente, el proyecto de ley que busca modificar la Ley 20.357 que tipifica los crímenes de competencia de la Corte Penal Internacional, con el propósito de incluir las enmiendas de Kampala se encuentra en primer trámite constitucional.
