A) Objectifs de l’engagement
The Czech Republic, in cooperation with the Czech Red Cross, will further enhance the dissemination of international humanitarian law also in state administration, armed forces and security forces of the Czech Republic, throughout the integrated rescue system, in schools and universities and in the public.
B) Plan d’action
- Continue to regularly organize courses on „Basics of IHL“ for the Czech armed forces as well as civilians.
- Continue to organize panel discussions on IHL topics for the armed forces, government officials, students and the public.
- Translate selected case studies from the ICRC Casebook “How does law protect in war?” to promote practice-based teaching of international humanitarian law and more interactive courses.
