Support for the International Humanitarian Fact Finding Commission:
- Canada has signed and ratified the First Additional Protocol to the 1949 Geneva Conventions and has accepted the jurisdiction of the IHFFC.
- Canada supports the IHFFC financially through annual contributions.
- The Canadian National Committee on International Humanitarian Law continues to discuss and explore ways to implement and spread knowledge of this pledge.
