Mesures prises:
La Comisión Costarricense de Derecho Internacional Humanitario (CCDIH) fue creada por Decreto Ejecutivo Nº 32077 el 21 de mayo del
2004, con el objetivo de asesorar al Poder Ejecutivo en materia de adopción, aplicación y difusión del Derecho Internacional Humanitario.
En 2024 se cumple el 20 Aniversario de su fundación y ha trabajado de manera ininterrumpida desde su fundación. Durante el periodo 2019-2023, se han celebrado reuniones de manera mensual y desarrollado acciones para la promosión, divulgación y protección del Derecho Internacional Humanitario en Costa Rica.
Se han establecido planes de trabajo anuales con un cumplimiento aproximado del 90% al 95% de los objetivos establecidos.
