A) Objectifs de l’engagement
Republic of Poland and Polish Red Cross, building upon positive long-term partnership and ongoing commitment to strengthen the role of Polish Red Cross as an auxiliary to the public authorities in the humanitarian field, hereby pledge to maintain a dialogue to consolidate a joint understanding of the specific and distinctive partnership established by the auxiliary role in the Polish context at all levels, recognising that it entails mutual responsibilities and benefits through which the State and the National Society agree on the areas in which the latter supplements for public humanitarian services
B) Plan d’action
– building a regular dialogue between the State and PRC on areas of collaboration where the benefits of the auxiliary role contribute to the prevention and alleviation of suffering
– ensuring that the State and PRC understand and support the nature and importance of the auxiliary role
– clarifying the meaning of the auxiliary role by key strategic documents and practice of the National Society
C) Indicateurs permettant de mesurer les avancées:
– regular meetings, consultancies and discussions between the PRC and public authorities are held
– auxiliary role is well recognized and understood by different stakeholders, including parliamentarians
– key strategic documents of the PRC (RC Law, Statute, Policies) are discussed, amended if necessary, and implemented
D) Ressources nécessaires:
Republic of Poland and the Polish Red Cross will determine the human, financial and technical resources that may be required to support the implementation of this pledge based on actions to be taken
