Side events
Side events are smaller events in the form of workshops, debates, round tables, etc. that complement the official proceedings by providing participants with time to have informal exchanges and opportunities to network, showcase successful approaches to tackling humanitarian issues, test ideas, find new partners and inform and inspire one another. The Call for Proposals for the 34th International Conference side events is now officially launched. Any conference members interested in organizing a side event may submit a proposal by 15 April 2024.

Humanitarian Village
The call for proposals for the Humanitarian Village has now been officially launched. Any conference members who are interested in having a booth at the Humanitarian Village during the 34th International Conference, Council of Delegates or General Assembly of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies should submit a proposal by 15 May.

Follow-up from the 33rd International Conference
The 33rd International Conference held in 2019 adopted eight resolutions. Over 200 pledges were also submitted and/or signed by Conference members and observers jointly or individually. To encourage implementation, a dynamic, real-time reporting system has been established for the 33rd International Conference, where progress can be shared at any time.
