Support for the International Criminal Court (ICC)

A) Objectives of the pledge:

Liechtenstein is fully committed to the International Criminal Court (ICC) and to its aim that serious crimes under international criminal law must be prosecuted.

Liechtenstein therefore pledges:

– to support the work of the ICC politically;

– to raise issues of prosecution of crimes under ICC jurisdiction in multilateral fora and to encourage the referral of critical country situations to the ICC;

– to raise the ratification of the Rome Statute and the Kampala amendments on the crime of aggression in bilateral meetings with countries which have not yet ratified the Statute or the amendments.
