Actions taken:

Hungary has been a staunch supporter of the IHFFC, and in order to enhance the work of the Commission, Hungary has become a member of the IHFFC Group of Friends at the United Nations, New York. Hungary is also proud that the IHFFC Committee has a Hungarian member due to the election of dr. Réka Varga in 2016. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade with the active participation of the National IHL Committee, including the Hungarian Red Cross are currently considering the ways how to further promote the activity and wider acceptance of the IHFFC.
