Actions taken:
La Principauté de Monaco, au travers de sa Mission permanente à Genève, participe aux réunions annuelles de la Commission.
En outre, Monaco s’engage, en tant que de besoin, en faveur de la pleine reconnaissance et opérationnalisation de la CIHEF, en particulier comme instrument de contrôle et de mesure du respect du Droit international humanitaire (DIH) mais également comme outil de prévention et de résolution des conflits.
Ce plaidoyer a notamment été effectué dans le cadre des discussions et réunions d’Etats co-facilitées par le CICR et la Suisse pour le renforcement du respect du Droit international humanitaire suite à l’adoption de la résolution 2 de la 32ème conférence, auxquelles la Principauté a activement participé.
