The Austrian Ministry of Education works in close cooperation with the Austrian Youth Red Cross, which strives to provide humanitarian education for children and youth. The work of the Austrian Youth Red Cross is guided by the motto “learning to help – helping to learn”. The programs, projects and activities of the organisation aim to develop self-motivation and the ability to help others, as well as personal and social responsibility.
