Addressing Psychological Effects of Armed Conflicts and Violence

Actions taken:

The DRC is part of a joint initiative together with IFRC, ICRC and Swedish RC promoting mental health and psycosocial support. DRC is actively seeking to place mental health and psycosocial support at the top of the agenda for the upcoming CoD. The aim is the development of a movement-wide policy.

Psycosocial support is a component of 33 international projects supported by the DRC whereof 11 has psycosocial support as its main area.
