A) Objetivos de la promesa

The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society takes its efforts to address the gaps of healthcare need of the population through its existing capacities developed along the years in communicable and non communicable diseases control and prevention methods with the collaboration of the government health sector.As a cross cutting measure, arrest  chronic kidney diseases, advocate prevention of drugs, alcohol and smoking practices among communities whilst addressing other  traditional medical and health emergency interventions.

B) Plan de acción

1. 1. Create awareness among communities to access existing facilities to detect CD and NCD and to obtain treatment from the government health institutions referred through branches divisions and units while engaging in implementing other core program activities in the community as an integrated program approach.

1. 1. Endeavour to implement water and sanitation program for provision of safe and clean water to the communities affected by water born diseases and CKD.

1. 1. Create awareness and take forward campaigns against drug, alcohol and smoking practices among communities to reduce adverse health consequences.
