SRC supported the Ukrainian RC, with IHL advise in preparing for a seminar “How is the environment protected during armed conflict?”, December 2023.
SRC continued its coordination and chairing of the Global Green Response Working Group – aiming to strengthen the overall understanding and promotion of Green Response actions within the Movement. In 2021, the working group was handed over to IFRC to host and chair to ensure a truly global and Movement-wide engagement.
SRC has supported Green Response capacity building in Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Sudan, South Sudan, Mozambique, Liberia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq.
