In August 2018, the JRCS prepared disaster prevention teaching materials for kindergartens and nurseries. 4,000 copies were so far produced and distributed to the Junior Red Cross member gardens through the branch.

In April 2019, in order to promote the spread of disaster prevention teaching materials “Spreading disaster prevention to protect lives” for elementary schools, junior high schools, and high schools, the JRCS has produced 6 videos covering actual examples of use. The JRCS continues to promote further dissemination such as having disaster prevention education seminars all over the country and teaching how to use it in school classes and in group works.
