ا) أهداف التعهد
Each signing State and National Society pledges to continue their cooperation with each other and other interested States and Red Cross/Red Crescent Societies in all matters related to the issue of the catastrophic and unacceptable humanitarian consequences and risks of nuclear weapons and to the need of attaining a world free of nuclear weapons. We further pledge to raise awareness together about these important issues, both at the national and at the international level.
ب) خطة العمل:
Each signing State and National Society will use all opportunities for raising awareness of this issue, and cooperate closely with other interested States and Red Cross/Red Crescent Societies. Concrete initiatives will be taken to foster a development towards the total elimination of nuclear weapons.
Austria will continue to table the Resolution „Humanitarian Consequences of Nuclear Weapons“ in the United Nations General Assembly, as it has done since 2015.
