ا) أهداف التعهد
A fin de ayudar a satisfacer las necesidades de los familiares separados y los familiares de personas desaparecidas, los componentes del Movimiento deberán poder sustentarse en una red mundial sólida y en estrecha cooperación con los Estados. La finalidad de la presente promesa es fortalecer esa red, las asociaciones entre sus miembros y el apoyo mutuo entre estos y las respectivas autoridades Nacionales.
Esta promesa tiene como objetivo garantizar la fortaleza de las Sociedades Nacionales que componen la plataforma AmerCAN para incrementar la cooperación, la coordinación y el intercambio de información tanto a nivel operativo como estratégico. La red AmerCAN compartirá buenas prácticas, desarrollará herramientas conjuntas, asegurará una implementación conjunta respetando el contexto individual. Se realizarán reuniones periódicas virtuales y presenciales entre las Sociedades Nacionales participantes.
Para definir elementos específicos de la Estrategia de Restablecimiento del Contacto Familiar 2020-2025 y la Resolución del Restablecimiento del Contacto Familiar 2019 en acciones concretas, las partes comprometidas desarrollarán un plan de acción regional, basado en necesidades y prioridades contextualizadas, e identificarán indicadores apropiados.

With the aim of addressing the needs of separated family members and families of missing persons, the components of the Movement shall be able to underpin themselves in a solid worldwide network and in close collaboration with States. The objective of this pledge is to strengthen the abovementioned network, the collaboration and cooperation between its members, as well as the support between them and their respective authorities.
This pledge has the purpose of safeguarding the strength of the National Societies (NS) that constitute the Central and North America (AmerCAN) platform, as well as to increase cooperation, coordination and the exchange of information at both the operative and strategic level. The AmerCAN network will share good practices, develop joint tools and ensure a joint implementation, while respecting the individual contexts. Recurrent virtual and face to face meetings will take place among participating NS.
In order to establish the specific elements of the RFL Strategy for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement 2020-2025 (RFL Strategy 2020-2025) and the 2019 Council of Delegates RFL Resolution (CoD) into concrete actions, the engaged parties will develop a regional plan of action based on contextualized needs and priorities and will identify appropriate indicators.
ب) خطة العمل:
- Las Sociedades Nacionales firmantes asegurarán el conocimiento de la Estrategia relativa al Restablecimiento del Contacto entre Familiares (2020–2025) por parte de las directivas de la sociedad nacional y los departamentos necesarios.
- Las Sociedades Nacionales firmantes establecerán líneas de acción propias y conjuntas, basándose en las prioridades señaladas en la Estrategia del Restablecimiento del Contacto entre Familiares (2020–2025) y en concordancia con esta.
- Las Sociedades Nacionales firmantes colaborarán a fin de fortalecer sus capacidades de Restablecimiento del Contacto entre Familiares, mediante el intercambio de experiencias y buenas prácticas en relación con la prestación de servicios, la promoción y la formación de los miembros de la red.

- The signatory NS will ensure awareness of the RFL Strategy 2020-2025 within the NS leadership and the required departments.
- The signatory NS will establish their own and joint lines of action in accordance with the RFL Strategy 2020-2025 priorities.
- The signatory NS will collaborate with the aim of strengthening their RFL capacities via the exchange of expertise and good practices related to service provision, outreach, and training of the AmerCAN network members.
ج) مؤشرات قياس التقدم المحرز
- Las Sociedades Ncionales firmantes y participantes de la Red AmerCAN realizarán reuniones de difusión sobre la estrategia de Restablecimiento del Contacto entre Familiares.
- Para finales de 2020 la Red AmerCAN presentará su plan de acción del Restablecimiento del Contacto entre Familiares regional y lo adopta en el marco de su reunión anual.
- La Red AmerCAN establecerá un mecanismo de monitoreo de la aplicación del plan de acción y a través de los miembros del Grupo de Implementación (IG) asegurará su correcto seguimiento y reporte
- La Red AmerCAN desarrollará e impartirá capacitaciones virtuales integradas por los diferentes miembros de la red a fin de fortalecer las capacidades de los voluntarios y personal en materia de Restablecimiento del Contacto entre Familiares

- The signatory and participating NS of the AmerCAN network will conduct awareness and informative meetings about the RFL Strategy 2020-2025.
- By the end of 2020, the AmerCAN network will present its regional action plan and will be adopted during its annual meeting;
- The AmerCAN network will establish a monitoring and evaluation mechanism of its action plan and via the RFL Strategy Implementation Group (IG) members, it will ensure its correct follow-up and reporting.
- The AmerCAN Network will develop and deliver virtual trainings with the support of its members in order to strengthen volunteers and employees’ capacities on the matter of Restoring Family Links.

Apoyo técnico por parte del CREP del FICR para el desarrollo educativo.
Apoyo y asesoría del CICR para el desarrollo de material audiovisual, cooperación, coordinación y transferencia de conocimiento.

Technical and logistical support from the ICRC for the development of audiovisual material, cooperation, coordination, and knowledge transfer.
