ا) أهداف التعهد
Despite challenges and difficulties attributed to geopolitical complexity on the Korean Peninsula and inter-Korean relations, KNRC will pursue constant and persistent humanitarian dialogues and engagement whenever and wherever humanitarian space is available in order to meet needs of separated families including ascertaining the fate and whereabouts of their loved ones and holding regular separated family reunions.
In this regard, KNRC will strive to ensure distinctive status in humanitarian fields through humanitarian diplomacy in close collaboration with other RC partners. Also, KNRC will consistently strive to create conducive environment between the national and international stakeholders, to resume the family reunion as well as pursue other urgent humanitarian issues in DPRK.
ب) خطة العمل:
To fulfill this pledge, KNRC aims to undertake the following actions before the 34th International Conference in 2023:
- Support needs of DPRK in terms of humanitarian and protracted issues concerned such as health and water and sanitation ensuring basic health care and support.
- Provide evidence based feedback to stakeholders and donors of RC’s service for the vulnerable and ensure trust and credibility of our support multilaterally and bilaterally.
- Seeking a humanitarian space missions to deal with urgent humanitarian issues between the two Korea, KNRC continues to support the separated families in the South with various support and initiatives.

- Engaged in humanitarian diplomacy efforts with Red Cross partners and others.
- Expanded and enhanced partnership with the government and other stakeholders to support the humanitarian needs in DPRK.
- Organized the family reunions based on the agreement of two governments.
- Made an opportunity and events to care the separated families and make sure their voice to be heard.
