The Czech Republic is a party to all IHL instruments listed in the EU pledge. The Czech Republic has ratified the 2006 Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance in 2017.
The Czech Republic is a state party to the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) and has been serving from the beginning as a member of the Treaty´s Management Committee. The Czech Republic provides contributions to the Voluntary Trust Fund, supports efforts aiming at full implementation and universalization of the ATT, and submits, in a timely and regular manner, its Annual reports to the ATT Secretariat. In the Czech Republic, the national control system related to the conventional arms and military equipment is fully compatible with the EU Common Position 2008/944/CFSP and is regulated by the national legislation.
