In international relations (e.g. in the WHO) Finland supports all actions which aim to safeguard the safety of health care personnel both in normal and in emergency conditions.
Health security in Finland was assessed by the WHO in its Joint External Evaluation process in March 2016.
Finland is currently drafting its national implementation plan for improving health security. Finland is also an active participant in international cooperation to reinforce biosafety.
