Promote the awareness of inhumanity of nuclear weapons

الإجراءات المتخذة:

• • Co-organized with the ICRC “the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement Conference on the Prohibition and Elimination of Nuclear Weapons” in Nagasaki, where Nagasaki Action Plan was adopted and Nagasaki Appeal was released.

• • Approached the Government of Japan requesting to participating in the UN negotiation on nuclear ban treaty.

• •   Presented lectures on the Red Cross and Nuclear Weapons at several occasions including at Universities.

• • Organized a talk session inviting a college student who is active on the elimination of nuclear weapons, with a film showing on the same topic.

• •   A video on the elimination of nuclear weapons was produced by youth members based on their study trip to Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
