A) Objectives of the pledge:
The Government of Hungary and the Hungarian Red Cross – in order to fulfil their international and national obligation related to the protection of humanitarian values and the principles of the Red Cross Movement – pledge to effectively promote dissemination of IHL among the population with special focus on the young generation.
B) Action plan:
Evaluation criteria by 2019: The Government and the national society will closely cooperate to organize awareness raising campaigns about the obligation to protect civilians in armed conflict within the framework of the Red Cross Basic Schools Network.
