The resolution reaffirms Thailand’s commitment to fully address and protect vulnerable groups from natural disasters and other emergencies.
To realize this, more cooperation has been made to build capacity and enhance coordination among relevant agencies, especially those playing the roles of first-responders.
In addition, such commitments also support and strengthen the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030, which provides guidelines in promoting the resilience of health systems.
