Law on the Slovenian Red Cross governs the tasks and funding of the Slovenian Red Cross, including the Tracing Service. The SRC Tracing Service Council guides the work of the SRC Tracing Service. Members are representatives from Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs,  the Government Office for Support and Integration of Migrants and the Slovenian Red Cross
