    La CRF s’est engagée avec l’AFD depuis 2019 avec une convention de financement permettant de développer l’expertise dans les domaines de la préparation et réponse aux épidémies. Cette convention démarre en septembre 2021 pour une durée de 3 ans. Des partenariats d’expertise existent entre la CRF et des organismes de recherche comme l’Institut Pasteur ou encore l’EHESP (École des Hautes Études en Santé Publique).

    Les principales difficultés sont représentées par une capacité collective limitée à s’engager sur ce sujet qui semble très technique pour la plupart des intervenants en interne. Il faut convaincre de s’engager sur des actions en lien avec les épidémies. Parfois, les personnels ont peur de travailler dans ce type de contexte.

    Une vraie relation partenariale s’installe progressivement entre la CRF et les bailleurs français sur cette thématique (AFD / MEAE). La plus-value du Mouvement est reconnue, notamment car les actions peuvent s’appuyer sur son réseau de volontaires.
