Humanitarian Education for Resilience

A) Objectives of the pledge:

In cooperation with RA government, we pledge to:

 

  • Commit ourselves to educating children and youth to be aware of the function and the relevance of the humanitarian principles, to have the required soft and social skills, thus contributing to the building of resilient communities and to the overall objective of human capital development by creating a society with healthy values and practices.

B) Action plan:

  1. Build partnerships and advocate for consistent practices of humanitarian education at schools.
  2. Invest in the improvement and adjustment of the available tools for humanitarian education, as well as invest in the innovative approaches for supporting the humanitarian education
  3. Create pool of humanitarian educators and enable their activities throughout the country
  4. Collect evidence based data on the changes that humanitarian education brings, including accompanying surveys and studies
  5. Take actions for the integration of the humanitarian education into the school curriculum
  6. Set a list of key performance indicators to measure the implementation of the Pledge towards the 34th International Conference

C) Indicators for measuring progress:
