Success Story:

Nino, Master of the International Humanitarian Law –

“International humanitarian law, also referred to as the laws of armed conflict, is the law that regulates the conduct of war.  It is a direction of international law which seeks to limit the effects of armed conflict by protecting persons who are not participating in hostilities. Because of this definition I was always interested in the International Humanitarian law and when I had to choose my profession I didn’t think a lot and chose IHL. The international humanitarian law is inspired by considerations of humanity and the mitigation of human suffering. During the working process on my master’s thesis I was looking at the Georgian version of relevant materials and I visited the GRCS HQ with my friends. I found out that they had mini IHL library with the Georgian versions of Geneva Conventions which was very useful for me during the working process on my master’s thesis. Nowadays I am Master of the International Humanitarian law and I will always try to help the GRCS in dissemination of IHL”.
