Actions taken:

The UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has taken sustained action since 2019 to help prevent and respond to SEAH in line with our pledge. Our annual safeguarding reports provide detail, and a link to the most recent one is here. FCDO has worked closely with a wide range of other actors to help deliver on the pledge, as detailed in the annual Cross-Sector Safeguarding reports. We have also contributed to the work of an international steering committee, which in 2023-24 developed the Common Approach to Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment (CAPSEAH).
