Actions taken:
La Belgique a activement participé à l’ensemble des réunions informelles et formelles organisées par les co-facilitateurs du processus à Genève en 2016, 2017, 2018 et 2019. Elle a par ailleurs effectué plusieurs démarches dans les capitales africaines en vue d’encourager une plus grande participation des Etats africains au processus. Par ailleurs, les développements du processus intergouvernemental ont été inscrits à l’ordre du jour de chaque réunion plénière de la Commission interministérielle de droit humanitaire (CIDH) afin d’échanger les principales informations sur les discussions en cours avec tous les départements représentés à la CIDH et la Société nationale.
