    The Red Cross of Serbia incorporated commitments into annual plans of its IHL Commission (The Red Cross of Serbia Commission, advisory body to the Red Cross of Serbia Governing Board).
    Also, measures related to the IHL dissemination were incorporated into the annual plans of the REd Cross of Serbia.

    Examples of cooperation:

    The Red Cross of Serbia regularly organizes IHL trainings for University students of (BA final years or master’s studies) of universities that have international law in their program (Faculties of law, Faculty of political sciences, Faculty of Security studies, Military Academy. The trainings are held with the support of the ICRC Regional Delegation, while lectures and sessions are run by the Professors and experts in this field. The seminars are followed by panel discussions providing the students with possibilities to discuss contemporary chalenges of the IHL with representatives of relevant Ministries, institutions and experts. Such trainings are held at least once a year.

    The Red Cross of Serbia, through its IHL Commission initiated the research “Implementation of international humanitarian law in the Republic of Serbia”, with the aim to create a comprehensive study of the situation in order to provide a solid basis for the creation of a strategy of the Red Cross of the Republic of Serbia (RCS) for the development and implementation of a constructive dialogue with the competent authorities in the field of international humanitarian law (IHL). The study contributed to identification of the strategic directions of the National Society action for the next period in the field of IHL, and the basis of medium-term and annual work plans of the Red Cross of Serbia IHL Commission
