Protection of humanitarian and medical personnel

A) Objectives of the pledge:

 

The Czech Red Cross will support the Czech Republic to work towards further implementation and dissemination of applicable rules of international law concerning protection of humanitarian and medical personnel, including the UN Security Council Res. 2286 (2016).

B) Action plan:

 

 The Czech Red Cross will:

  •  cooperate with Ministry of Health on the implementation of relevant practical ICRC recommendations to enhance ambulance and pre-hospital services in the risk situations.
  •  cooperate with Ministry of Health on the creation of an educative list (checklist + explanatory text) for relevant medical personnel,
  •  cooperate with Ministry of Health on the organisation of training courses for relevant medical personnel.

 

C) Indicators for measuring progress:

Number of people trained, number of public awareness campaigns, number of actions implemented.

D) Resource implications:

The International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and the Standing Commission of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, in its function as Trustee of the International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (the Conference), cannot be held responsible or liable in any manner for any user-generated content or posts on this Database.
