A) Objectives of the pledge:

We, the Egyptian Red Crescent, commit to advocate for inclusion of key messages on the protection of safe health care delivery and ethical principles in the curricula of healthcare and other fields’ students.

B) Action plan:

  • Strengthen our capacities to deliver the key messages on the protection of safe health care delivery and ethical principles effectively.
  • Establish coordination mechanisms with academic institutions, civil society and media to advocate for including the key messages.
  • Encourage health care and other students’ involvement in promoting safe health care delivery and ethical principles.

C) Indicators for measuring progress:

  • Number of trainings carried out with universities, media and civil society actors and number of people reached though these trainings.
  • Inclusion of the key messages in relation to the protection of safe health care delivery and ethical principles in university curricula.

D) Resource implications:
